Homeschooling today Pyschologist tomorrow

Everyone has a different journey through life, and mine is a little different from the usual school experience. I am homeschooled, which has given me the freedom to learn in my own way and explore things that interest me. My school life is not only about books and studies; it is also about discovering myself, developing new skills, and understanding what I want to do in the future.

One of my biggest dreams is to become a psychologist. I have always been interested in understanding people, their thoughts, feelings, and behaviour.

In this blog, I will share my experience of homeschooling, what I have learned from it, and how it is helping me
move towards my dream career.
My daily routine is pretty much simple. I get up, organise my table, get my notebooks lined up for the day and begin with my classes. Sometimes it is good and sometimes it can be hectic as well. After my classes, I usually take a break for cycling or even play cricket. When I return, I revise what I have done during the day. I make my notes, complete my homework or assignments if I have any, and do some self-study. It can feel like a lot sometimes, but having a routine helps me stay on track.

It is not always very easy to manage, and yes, there are challenges, but I try to face them and find solutions.  Sometimes there are network issues, but instead of giving up, I connect to a hotspot that works during class. My family supports me a lot as well and guides me whenever I need help.

This experience has been quite unique, and I never really thought schooling could be done this way. From homeschooling, I have learned how to manage my time and take more responsibility for my own work. Another thing I really like about my school is that there are only around five to eight students in a class. Because of this, my teachers can give full attention to each and every one of us. I can ask questions when I am confused and get help without feeling like I am being left behind.
When it comes to my favourite subjects, psychology and French are definitely at the top of my list. Psychology interests me because I like learning  about how people think, feel and behave. I find it interesting that everyone’s mind works differently and that there can be so many reasons behind the way a person acts or feels.

This is also one of the main reasons I want to become a psychologist in the future. I would love to learn more about the human mind and hopefully use that knowledge to understand and help people. French is another subject I enjoy because learning a new language feels exciting and gives me a chance to learn about a different  culture too.

My interest in psychology has also made me think more seriously about what I want to do when I grow up. Becoming a psychologist is not just a random career choice for me. I like the idea of understanding why people think and behave in certain ways and being someone who can listen to others without judging them. I know that becoming a psychologist will take a lot
of studying and hard work, but I am ready to learn step by step. I want to improve my
communication skills, learn more about human behaviour and keep exploring psychology as I get older. I also think my homeschooling experience can help me because it has taught me to be ..responsible and independent with my learning.
Overall, homeschooling has become an important part of my life. It has given me a different kind of school experience and has helped me learn things both inside and outside the classroom. From managing my daily routine to dealing with problems, I have learned something from every part of this journey. I am grateful for my teachers and family who support me along the way. Most importantly, I am excited to see where this journey takes me and hopefully, one day, I will be able to say that I became the psychologist I always wanted to be.
